Cookie policy
This policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on joliq.fr and, where applicable, in the JoliQ app, in line with the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. Related technologies (localStorage, IndexedDB, app storage, pixels) can play a similar role.
2. What JoliQ uses today
No third-party advertising cookies on the site. No opt-in banner is shown as long as no non-essential analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies are set. A compliant banner will be deployed if such trackers are introduced.
-
joliq.fr website: static pages. Cookie
joliq_lang(chosen or detected FR/EN/ES language), strictly necessary for the multilingual site. No first-party audience-measurement cookie at this time. The host (Hostinger) may keep technical logs (IP, user-agent) for security — see the privacy policy. - Mobile app: strictly necessary local storage (preferences, analyses, profile, quota, subscription status, install identifier). These stores are required to provide the Service and do not need marketing consent (the “strictly necessary” exemption).
- AI analysis: does not use advertising cookies. When you run an analysis, the screenshot (or text) is sent to OpenAI — described in the privacy policy.
- Payments: on an in-app purchase, Apple or Google (and RevenueCat where applicable) may set their own cookies or identifiers under their policies. We do not control the details.
3. Future changes
If non-essential analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies are introduced on joliq.fr, a compliant consent banner (opt-in) will be shown before they are set, with the option to refuse without blocking access to the site’s content.
4. How to delete local storage
Website: through your browser settings, clear data / cookies for joliq.fr.
App: delete from JoliQ settings (analysis, history, profile, all data) or uninstall the app.
